I am also a visual basic & labview programmer in my company and also involved as freelancer programmer. That's my interest and i find a lot of fun while handling each type of different project. Throughout this period, I find a lot of website which must have a lot of information regarding the visual basic , vb.net & freelancer website.
Below is some of the programming websites which i find very useful.
1) VB helper - have a lot of simple visual basic module to be used)
2) Sams Teach Yourself Visual Studio .NET 2003 in 21 Days - teach the studio.net (including vb.net & c.net) in step by step manner. I am still learning on it and find it very interesting.
3) VB.net tutorial - also another website teach about VB.net
4) Visual basic ebook (download) - that's my favourite ebook (last time get to sold a lot in malaysia website http://www.lelong.com/ )
5) Various of VB example - http://patorjk.com/programming/vb6examples.htm
6) VBAccelerator - http://www.vbaccelerator.com/home/index.asp
7) Source Planet - this is a perfect website which you can find the source code then
just use for free.
8) Source Forge - You can find any either software and source code from here

1) GetAfreelacer - a great freelancer website ( i have get some project recently on programming and some data entry, very excited to get this part time work :)
2) www.rentacoder.com - another freelancer website but havent get any project
3) Just found another interesting website (a adverstisement on company which develope application : http://www.bits.za.net/index.html) maybe next time can start off my own company :)
4) New interesting tutorial website related to how to use create screensaver through VB
